Punjab Government Spokesperson visits PSCA Qurban Lines, Lahore to address Police Communication Officers on Democracy and Rule of Law.

Lahore – July 11, 2017: Mr. Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, Spokesperson Punjab Government visited Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA), Qurban Lines Lahore mainly to lecture the Police Communication Officers – the heart & soul of the authority’s premier project Punjab Police Integrated Command, Control and Communication Center (PPIC3) – on the importance and subtleties of Democracy and Rule of law. The session was attended by a select-range of PCOs from all streams of PPIC3 who were excited to identify and learn, the mutually indispensable relationship of the two, through a very elaborate expression of the spokesperson on importance of freedom of speech and its democratic significance in a striving society. Mr. Malik appreciated the computing-grad workforce of the project for their hands-on operational excellence and awareness with all relevant technologies and emphasized on participants’ need to understand the democratic rights of all citizens when enforcing rule of law. Furthermore, he also applauded Chief Minister’s vision for Digital Punjab and termed PPIC3 as a magnificent monument in the course of the same, attributing to it, comparatively, a lowering crime rate of Punjab. In the end he spoke very highly of the authority’s drive to arrange such interactions of its workforce with the movers and shakers from all important walks of life. PMLN stalwart Ms. Uzma Bukhari also graced this occasion by expressing her opinions on the topic and reiterated CM’s vow to bring positive change in police culture.
