Punjab Safe Cities Authority steps up crackdown against counterfeit and unauthorized display of registration / number plates. In the next phase of the crackdown, in coordination with ground teams of CTPL, Punjab Police, Dolphin Squad, Police Response Unit and PSCA CCTV Surveillance Network, private vehicle owners who mount unauthorized Identities and previleged accessories will also be intercepted to face the law, said the Spokesperson PSCA. PSCA will be relentless in taking to task the irresponsible elements who put green number plates or blue revolving lights on their private vehicles against the law, he added. All such people are given a 7-day warning period to put their house and perspective in order, later-on continued violation will result in both nuisance and strict action by Police teams, he explained. PSCA’s first and foremost priority is to ensure sustenance of a safe city with safer roads and places for its inhabitants and it will continue doing, all in its reach, to implement maximum law enforcement and traffic regulation, the PSCA spokesperson concluded.
