Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA), in close coordination with Traffic Police and Punjab Police, uses advanced surveillance and ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) technology to identify and take action against blacklisted vehicles across Punjab, including vehicles with multiple unpaid e-challans, those declared blacklisted by the Excise & Taxation Department, vehicles involved in FIRs or criminal cases, and cars using cloned, fake, or tampered number plates; such vehicles are tracked and intercepted to maintain law and order and enhance road safety, and vehicle owners are strongly advised to clear outstanding dues, resolve legal matters, and ensure proper registration and number plate authenticity to avoid penalties, vehicle seizure, or other legal inconvenience.
