Secretary Forest Muhammad Asif vows to carry out digital monitoring of Changa Manga Forest

Secretary Forests Punjab Capt. (r) Muhammad Asif visited Punjab Safe Cities Authority Headquarter Lahore here on Monday. The Chief Operating Officer Muhammad Kamran Khan briefed about various arms and functions of the project and the advanced technologies supporting the same. Secretary Forest was taken to the IC3 sections dealing in 15 Operations, Police Dispatch Unit, Video Control Unit, Media Monitoring Unit, and the PSCA insignia Cam-surveillance Operations Management Center.
On the occasion of Punjab Safe Cities Authority visit, Secretary Forest Punjab Capt. (r) Muhammad Asif vows to carry out digital monitoring of Changa Manga forest. In this regard, COO Muhammad Kamran Khan and Secretary Forests discussed the installation of cameras in Changa Manga. Secretary Forest Punjab Capt. (r) Muhammad Asif said that Punjab Safe Cities Authority is working as a role model for us. He added more, the 13,000-acre area of Changa Manga Forest and its animals cannot be monitored by human eye. There is an urgent need to install cameras to ensure the safety of the forest.
In this regard, Chief Operating Officer Punjab Safe Cities Authority Muhammad Kamran Khan and Secretary Forests Punjab Capt. (r) Muhammad Asif also discussed about integrating forest monitoring with Punjab Safe Cities Authority. On the occasion, Chief Operating Officer Punjab Safe Cities Authority Muhammad Kamran Khan also assured that PSCA will Provide all Possible Assistance for the Protection of Forests. Later, a commemorative shield was also presented by PSCA to Secretary Capt. (r) Muhammad Asif.
