COMPLETION OF THE MASTERPIECE PROJECT USING THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY IS COMMENDABLE: PARTICIPANTS

A delegation of Mass Communication Students from Punjab University, Lahore visited Punjab Safe Cities Authority, Qurban Lines here on Tuesday.

The PU delegation was comprised of 35 students and their faculty members. The Director Public Relations PSCA Muhammad Tauseef Sabih briefed about the various sections of IC3 for a real-time functional demonstration of the integrated security platform. The DPR Muhammad Tauseef Sabih briefed the delegation about the women’s safety app that is loaded with features such as chatting, secured route mapping, location sharing, and one-touch SOS call for immediate security provision and deployment. Students were also briefed on media management and the effective use of social media during the visit.
The students were taken to various arms and functions of the project dealing in 15 emergency call center, Police Dispatch Unit, Video Control Unit, Media Monitoring Unit, and the PSCA insignia Cam-surveillance Operations Management Center. The Director Public Relations briefed the delegation with audiovisual presentations on various objectives as well. PSCA is keen to absorbable youths in its workforce. The participants of the delegation hoped that such projects will be replicated in other cities of Punjab for better surveillance, security and traffic management. Later On, Punjab University students also participated in the PSCA Web TV program and radio safe city FM 88.6 live program. In the question and answer session, Director Public Relations Muhammad Tauseef Sabih answered the students’ media management,  e-challenging, 15 calls, traffic management, LTE networking and other questions..
