Facilitate evidence based decision making in operationally critical situations within the Punjab Police departments to ensure seamless service delivery to the public.

Implementation of a consolidate IC3 organizational operating model to optimize cross agency coordination, communication and effectiveness of public safety and emergency services delivery.

Traffic Management

A major benefit of the project is traffic management, where public is being informed of traffic density and alternate routes are planned for them through the variable messaging system.

Through broadcast; thus minimizing journey times and stops at traffic signals, which saves enormous costs of fuel and time.

E-Challans are also issued through the system to those vehicles which violates the traffic rules.

Monitoring Law and Order

Anticipatory technologies ensure that police responder is available for real-time monitoring of processions and law & order situations.

The system ensures efficient resource deployment for optimum effect and provision of high-quality emergency response system to the public.

Electronic Evidence Collection

The Punjab Police Integrated Command Control and Communication Center (PPIC3) programs also aim to increase public satisfaction level.

As real time comparison of suspected persons with criminal and other allied departmental databases make apprehension of record holders instantaneous.

Crime Reduction

The program envisages that around 20 percent of crimes such as rioting, destruction of public and private property, 28-30 percent of vehicular crime, and 15-20 percent reduction in crimes against property such as house burglary, robbery and street crime will be achieved in the first five years of operation.

Secure Police Communication

The Police is transferred on a dedicated LTE / 4G network for secure communication through UAVs and mobile command and control centers.

Implementation of a consolidated of Integrated Command and Control Center organizational operating model to optimize cross agency coordination, communication, and effectiveness of public safety and emergency services delivery.

Accountability

Enhanced monitoring of the public spaces, better utilization of police resources and improved command and control infrastructure has led to better security for the capital city and its residents and visitors.
