He instructed that the construction of the buildings along with the procurement of necessary equipment should be completed in time. He instructed the Regional Police Officers (RPOs) of concerned cities to personally monitor the projects. “All the cameras of the Lahore Safe City project should be made functional as soon as possible,” he directed.
In the meeting, suggestions were considered, to improve emergency services 15 and make Punjab Safe City Authority paperless and 2000 cameras in Lahore will be functional by the first week of November.
Inspector General of Police briefed the meeting about the progress regarding Safe City projects of Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Gujranwala.
