A ceremony was held at Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) on Thursday, in recognition of the best performance of Police and Communication Officers in Pakistan Super League Seventh Edition. CCPO Lahore Additional IG Fayyaz Ahmed Dev was the chief guest at the function. Chief Operating Officer (COO) Punjab Safe Cities Authority Muhammad Kamran Khan, SSP Admin Atif Nazir, Operations Commander Muhammad Asim Jasra and other concerned officers were present on the occasion. The CCPO Fayyaz Ahmed Dev distributed appreciation letters among Deputy Superintendents of Police, Commendation certificates and cash awards among Police Communication Officers including Inspectors, Sub Inspectors, ASIs, Senior Traffic Wardens and Wardens. The officers of Operations, Emergency Response and Dispatch Centers, Emergency Helpline 15 were included among the recipients. Fayyaz Ahmed Dev also addressed the officers and commended them for their excellent performance. The CCPO Lahore said that Lahore Police and Safe Cities Authority have been working side by side in making the city a haven of peace and cracking down on criminals. Rewards are being given for community policing, duty recognition and good conduct. According to 15 record data of Punjab Safe Citizens Authority, crime has decreased significantly, he added. Lahore Police has the full support of Punjab Safe Cities Authority’s modern monitoring system in the areas of peacekeeping, crime detection, identification of criminals and traffic management,Fayyaz Ahmad Dev concluded. Chief Operating Officer PSCA Muhammad Kamran Khan said that Lahore Police and Safe Cities Authority have been extending cooperation with each other’s to protect citizens from street crime. The COO of PSCA further said the purpose of the award distribution was to encourage the best-performing officers so that they could render services with more hard work and dedication.
