The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) is set to launch Smart Cities projects in 18 cities across the province, under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab.

The project involves the installation of Air Quality Index Monitoring Environment Sensors in each of the 18 cities. Citizens in various locations can look forward to the Safe City project becoming operational soon. The systems will be progressively introduced across cities including Gujrat, Jhelum, Sheikhupura, Okara, Taxila, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sargodha, Rahim Yar Khan, Muzaffargarh, Sahiwal, Jhang, Attock, Hasan Abdal, DG Khan, Sialkot, Murree, and Mianwali.
