Punjab Safe Cities Authority has issued annual Performance statistics for 2020. The 15 Emergency Helpline received
2, 11, 94327 calls, out of which 15Lahore Received 33, 79762 calls. The case generated against the number of calls received on the Police & Emergency Helpline this year is 17, 63,916. Electronic Data Analysis center provided
3011 audio & video electronic evidence to police investigation officers. Authority’s Operations Monitoring Center state of the art CCTV Surveillance Operations through the geo-strategic grid of cameras within the metropolis. More than 719 rallies and protests were monitored to ensure security measures.
The Media Monitoring Center reported 3031 social media pages to LEA and 1775 pages blocked regarding hate speeches,
Sectarians, anti-stat, etc. from PTA. Moreover, MMC, PSCA WebTV, and Radio Safe city 88.6 continued their campaign regarding road safety, E-Challan, efficient use of 15 emergency helpline, and other issues on official social media pages, radio, and web TV. Electronic Ticketing center sent 19, 86464 E-challans to the violators and Rs. 192.73 million was deposited in the national exchequer.
PSCA has initiated Pehchaan App and upgraded Woman Safety App in 2020 as well. PSCA introduced SMS Alert service to E-Challan defaulters. In addition, e-challan online payment has been introduced for the convenience of citizens.
PSCA also played a pivotal role in securing religious rituals such as Urs of Syed Ali Hajvery and Chehlum congregations. PSCA is determined to extend its services and cooperation with LEAs, and all others in need, whenever required. Citizens are requested to contact 15 helplines in case of any emergency or to report illegal activity in the city.
